This Privacy Policy regulates the processing of personal data collected through the website
netvigia. en and in the provision of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) services by NetVigia –
Information Technologies, Lda.
, in full accordance with the General Protection Regulation
Data (RGPD) — Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council — and
Law No 58/2019 of August 8, which ensures the execution of the GDPR in Portugal.

|2. Framework of Services and Data Typology

NetVigia operates in the market as a managed service provider (MSP) and solution reseller
technology. Like a single multi-service counter, customers can purchase directly from
website network infrastructures or isolated solutions, simultaneously finding a wide range of
peripheral products and services associated with digital management and security.

Depending on how you interact with NetVigia (through the form "Talk to Us", subscription of
plans or client area), we collect the following data categories:

A. Commercial Customer Data (Management of Contractual Relationship and Invoice)

  • Identification data: User name, company name, position.
  • Contact details: Corporate or personal e-mail address, phone number.
  • Invoicing data: Tax Identification Number (NIF), tax address, data processing
    payments.

B. Telemetry and Monitoring Technical Data (MSP Service Provision)

For customers who hire our Support and Protection Plans (Pack Start, Pack Business, Pack
Web) or dedicated solutions, our tools collect and process technical data strictly
necessary to safeguard customer infrastructure:

  • System and Server Metadata: IP addresses, system logs, server connectivity status, traffic data and latency collected by our monitoring tools (such as Uptime Kuma).
  • Remote Management and Support Data: Information on hardware, installed software inventory and status of operating system updates collected by our RMM platforms (Tactic RMM and Action1), as well as remote access records for incident resolution.
  • Security and Defense Data: Threat alerts, suspicious files quarantined and security logs obtained through our endpoint protection stack (Bitdefender EDR).
  • Backup and Accommodation Data: Encrypted backups generated for cloud storage and web hosting data and domain logging processed in partnership with PTISP infrastructure and servers in Hetzner VPS environment.

C. Website Navigation Data (Technical Cookies and Logs)

  • IP address, browser type, operating system, visited pages and duration of sessions, collected to ensure website security and prevent fraudulent activities.

|3. Purposes of Legal Treatment and Grounds

In strict compliance with Article 6 of the GDPR, NetVigia only treats your personal data when it is
verifies at least one of the following bidding conditions:

Compliance with the legal obligation to which the person responsible
by treatment be subject (Art. 6(1), al.c).
Response to Contacts and Requests for Proposal:
Processing of data submitted on forms
"Speak to us" or "Request Proposal."
Consent from the data subject or pre-departures
contract at the request of the contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and
(b)).

|4. Confidentiality and Subcontractors

NetVigia does not market, rent or share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes. No
however, to provide a robust MSP service with global technology and local proximity, we resorted to the
specialized subcontractors who process data strictly under our instructions:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH: Virtual server provider (VPS) where our centralized management tools and monitoring instances are hosted. Data centres are located in the European Union, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
  • PTISP (Domain and Accommodation Panel): National partner for registration of national/international domains and web hosting support infrastructure.
  • Bitdefender: Integrated technology stack for incident detection and response (EDR) and managed antivirus protection against advanced threats and ransomware.
  • Tactical RMM & Action1: Tools used safely and strictly for performing automated tasks, technical inventory, authorized remote control and management of critical security updates.
  • Uptime Kuma: Internal or dedicated solution for monitoring availability of customer services and servers connectivity.

|5. Data Security and Protection

The security of the data collected is at the heart of NetVigia's mission as a cybersecurity company.
We implement rigorous technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against
accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, dissemination or unauthorized access. These
measures include:

  • use of encrypted communication channels ( HTTPS and high-performance SSL protocols) throughout the website;
  • Storage of backups in isolated and fully encrypted repositories;
  • rigorous control of accesses to RMM tools and management consoles through multifactor authentication (MFA);
  • Minimum privilege policies, ensuring that only authorized technicians access the data strictly necessary for solving customer problems.

|6. Rights of Data Holders

Personal data shall be kept only for the period strictly necessary to comply with the provisions of this Regulation.

  • Invoicing and accounting data: Maintained for the mandatory legal period of 10 years, as required by Portuguese tax legislation.
  • Contract and support data MSP: Maintained as long as the contractual relationship between the client and NetVigia lasts.
  • Contact requests and proposals: Deleted or anonymised within 12 months of the last contact if the trade relationship is not implemented.

|7. Data retention period

According to the GDPR, users and customers of the website netvigia. en enjoy the following
fundamental rights:

  1. Right of Access: Confirm that your data is being processed and get a copy of all your NetVigia data.
  2. Right to rectification: Request immediate correction of data that are inaccurate, incomplete or outdated.
  3. Right of Deletion ("Right to Forgotten"): Require the permanent deletion of your personal data, provided that they are no longer necessary for the contractual or legal purposes that motivated its collection.
  4. Right to Limitation of Treatment: Request temporary suspension of data processing under certain conditions (e.g. if it contests the accuracy of the data).
  5. Portability right: Receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, current-use and automatic reading format.
  6. Right of Opposition: Opposed at any time to data processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing purposes.

In order to exercise any of these rights, the holder shall submit a written request to the official e-mail.
the controller indicated in point 1. NetVigia undertakes to respond to all
requests within 30 days.

It is further reported that the holder is entitled to lodge a formal complaint with the

NetVigia reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy to any
moment, to reflect changes in your services, technological improvements or updates in
Portuguese and European legal case law. Regular consultation of this page is recommended to maintain
informed about how we protect your information.
